Cornerstone Christian Preschool is a mission of
St. John Lutheran Church. Our staff is dedicated to preparing children ages 3-5 years old for Kindergarten. Our program provides spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development for each child.
Our smaller class sizes allow for personal communication and hands on experiences each day.

We align our EZ write curriculum with the ISD 728 school district’s programs to ensure a smooth transition into kindergarten for our students.

Classrooms + Tuition

3-year-old Half-day Monday/Wednesday Class -$175 per month

4/5-year-old All-day Tuesday/Thursday Class  – $240 per month
4/5-year-old Half-day Tuesday/Thursday/Friday ​Class – $210 per month

Bible Units:

Every month at Cornerstone we teach the children a new Bible unit. During these units we focus on the message that God is teaching us through the story and how we can use these important lessons in our classrooms and at home. Often times the stories we focus on teach; forgiveness, patience, being kind to others, and trusting in God.

Class Sizes:

We believe that smaller student to teacher ratio is crucial to a successful early learning environment. Our classes are either 1 teacher to 10 students or 2 teachers to 20 students.

EZ Write Handwriting Curriculum:

This program matches the ISD 728 handwriting program to ensure continuity and an easier transition from pre-k to kindergarten.

Physical Environment:

Our environment is set up to offer the children the opportunity to make their own choices, as well as offer many directed learning opportunities.

Monthly Theme Curriculum:

Every year the teachers at Cornerstone develop a new monthly theme curriculum. Throughout the monthly theme we learn through observation, science, math, art, literacy, music and movement, and games.

 

Communication:

We believe communication between home and school is KEY to a successful preschool program.

My husband and I live in Orrock with our two rescue dogs. We have four handsome and smart adult sons that keep us busy. I enjoy camping, fishing, kayaking and gardening in the summer. In the winter we ice fish and go on walks with our fur babies.
I enjoy working with children and adults with special needs.
There is never a dull moment in my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
