Week of December 01, 2020 1st Sunday in Advent
Worship online--click below
Worship on-line this weekend 10 AM.
Our count-down to Christmas begins! It is the first Sunday in Advent this weekend. In this time of uncertainty and change; we will center our Advent worship on the Angels’ message: Do Not Fear. This week’s worship service will help set you on your way for a wonderful ADVENT at HOME. St. John worship online premiers at 10 AM on the St. John Facebook page [click link above].
The inspiration for our theme this year comes from the angels’ message in the first two chapters of the Gospel of Luke: “Do not be afraid!” This phrase is an instruction God gave to His people throughout their history, and it is a message God continues to give to us today. This Advent, we invite you to explore what it looks like to hold hope when life feels really uncertain, to bring peace in the face of fear, to practice joy when everything seems burdensome, and to choose love, when sometimes, it’s just really hard.
Stop by St. John anytime and pick up your
Advent at Home Kit.

Please add the Roberta Peterson family to your prayers, as they grieve and mourn her death. The funeral service will be held Monday, November 30th at 11 o’clock in the morning. The service will be at Williams/Dingmann in Princeton. Visitation one hour prior to the service. All Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed. Masks required.
Also in our prayers—Mike
The Women of St. John Christmas Brunch, which is traditionally held in December, will not take place this year. We will miss this special morning together. If you participate in the Secret Prayer Partner program, please take time to call or email your prayer partner and reveal to them who you are!
The Christmas Brunch is such a special tradition, that your St. John Staff would like to invite all the Women of St. John to a “2020 Roll With It—Drive-in Event” on Saturday, December 5th. “Roll” into the St. John Parking lot any time between 10 AM-11 AM [bring your coffee!] and get a wonderful cinnamon roll to enjoy! [2020 has taught us to roll with the punches, after all]. We won’t be getting out of our cars for this Christmas brunch event, but at least we will see each other. And, it will be a chance to wear your favorite Christmas sweater!
Sign-up by calling the church office by Thursday, December 3rd at 763-856-4561. Leave a message if your call goes to voicemail or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you.
We Miss Each and Everyone of You.
God's Peace Surrounds us ALL---ALL-ways!
